1. Editorial independence
Directory rankings and pairing scores are computed from the underlying embeddings. They are not affected by sponsorships, placement fees, or commercial relationships.
2. Sponsorships
Pair does not sell sponsorships or placement in the directory. Any future sponsored content would be labeled and separated from algorithmically ranked lists.
3. Affiliate links
We do not currently use affiliate links. If we add them, they'll be labeled and the affiliate relationship will be disclosed on the relevant page.
4. Data sources
The pairing data derives from the published arXiv methodology paper plus publicly available co-occurrence and chemistry corpora; citations and methodology details live on the directory's About page.
